Consultative support for executives in crisis

Consultative support for executives and founders through professional crisis.

Individual work for executives and founders who are going through a crisis, a change of role, a partnership conflict, or a difficult decision. In our meetings, we analyse the situation, the personal and interpersonal factors involved, the risks, and the options available.

When your usual way of deciding stops working.

Professional growth, a business exit, a change of leadership role, or a partnership conflict can all disrupt the reference points you're used to relying on.

The weight of the decision is still yours, and the people around you need you steady — so there is rarely a confidential space to think without pressure, and to notice the recurring patterns in how you think and interact before they raise the cost of the decision.

This is not weakness. It is the cost of carrying a system on your shoulders. What you need now is not advice, and not another framework — it is an external, unhurried perspective on the situation you're in.

A confidential space to regain clarity and decide deliberately.

I work with executives and founders navigating professional crisis and complex decisions — individually, one relationship at a time. My approach is grounded in transactional analysis and built from direct client work, not a generic framework.

About & qualifications ↓

Individual consultative support for executives and founders.

This work is not a medical service and does not replace psychiatric care or psychotherapy where these are needed. I do not make medical diagnoses or treat mental or physical disorders. Where appropriate, I recommend consulting the relevant specialist.

What the work gives you

  • A structured way to describe the problem
  • A way to separate facts from assumptions and emotional reactions
  • Recognition of recurring patterns in how you think and interact
  • Clear criteria for the decision and a realistic set of next steps

What it is not

  • A one-off session or an instant recipe
  • A one-size-fits-all programme or generic advice
  • Medical or clinical treatment
  • A promise or guarantee of a particular outcome

Professional boundaries

This is not a medical service. It does not replace psychiatric care or psychotherapy where these are needed, and it is not intended for emergency crisis states. Where a request falls outside my competence, I recommend the relevant specialist. Confidentiality is kept within professional, ethical and legal limits.

An authored three-stage structure
— not a clinical protocol.

A structured, individual process grounded in transactional analysis and in individual work with clients since 2021. This is my own three-stage structure for consultative work — it is not a validated or standardised clinical protocol.

01

Assessing the current situation

We clarify the request and the actual situation: what's happening, what decisions have already been made, what resources have been lost or retained, and the emotional and interpersonal factors involved.

02

Defining the desired change

We define the outcome you want, the criteria for reaching it, the risks and constraints, and the sequence of steps. The pace of the work is agreed with you and matched to the real conditions of the situation.

03

Forming an autonomous position

You define a decision that fits the current reality, your own values, and the limits of your responsibility — and plan how to sustain it under difficult conditions.

What you can work on
over a year.

Possible areas of work, not a guaranteed effect. Specific goals and criteria for the result are agreed individually at the start of the work.

A clearer decision process

You separate facts from assumptions and emotional reactions, and set clear criteria for the decision in front of you.

A clearer view of the problem

You structure the situation and identify the one or two factors that actually move it.

Awareness of recurring patterns

You recognise repeating patterns in how you lead and relate that may be sharpening conflict or weakening decisions.

A realistic plan and ways to sustain it

You leave with a realistic plan of next steps, and ways to support the decision after the work ends.

This format may suit you if

A good fit
  • You need to make a difficult decision under uncertainty
  • Your professional role or scope of responsibility has changed
  • There's a conflict between partners or within your team
  • You're ready to meet regularly, examine your own part in the situation, test your assumptions, and decide for yourself

This is not for you if

Better served elsewhere
  • You're looking for a one-off tip or a fast recipe
  • You're in an emergency crisis, at risk of harm to yourself or others, or experiencing acute mental or physical symptoms that need medical care
  • You expect a guaranteed result
  • You want to be told what to do rather than to decide for yourself

The twice-weekly rhythm is intentional: it creates continuity during periods when decisions, roles and working relationships may be changing quickly, while leaving enough time between meetings to observe what is happening in practice.

STEP 01

Your request

You leave a short, private request below. No detail is required — only enough for me to understand the moment you're in.

STEP 02

Free introductory meeting

A free, one-to-one introductory meeting, 1–2 hours. We briefly discuss your request, check it's within my competence, and cover format, professional boundaries, confidentiality, cost and next steps. It doesn't create any obligation to continue.

STEP 03

The engagement begins

If it's a fit, the year-long engagement begins: individual 60-minute meetings — 8 a month — plus messaging between meetings as needed, within agreed boundaries. Regular one-to-one meetings, in London or online.

Frequently asked questions about the format of work.

This is individual consultative support for executives during periods of professional change. We start by defining your specific request, goals, and the boundaries of the work. It is not a medical service and does not replace psychotherapy or psychiatric care where these are needed.

No, this format does not replace other kinds of support. At the introductory meeting, we check that our goals don't overlap and that combining formats is safe. You don't need to stop working with another specialist, and any communication with them happens only with your separate written consent.

The engagement runs for a year: 8 individual 60-minute meetings a month — plus messaging between meetings as needed, within agreed boundaries. This isn't a single session or a quick recipe — the work needs enough time to address the situation properly.

I keep confidentiality within professional, ethical and legal limits. Exceptions and how risk is handled are agreed before the work begins and set out in writing. Professional cases may be discussed in supervision only to the extent needed for the quality of the work, with your anonymity preserved.

A free, one-to-one introductory meeting, 1–2 hours. We briefly discuss your request, check it's within my competence, and cover format, professional boundaries, confidentiality, cost and next steps. If it's a fit, we move to the year-long engagement. It doesn't create any obligation to continue.

Rescheduling or cancelling a meeting requires at least 24 hours' notice; with less notice, the meeting counts as used within the engagement unless we've agreed otherwise. The engagement is non-refundable once it has begun, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded. Full payment, cancellation and rescheduling terms are provided in writing before the engagement begins.
